Ingredients (1 serving):
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 star anise (optional)
1 tsp crushed cloves
½ tsp crushed cardamom (removed from pods)
1 cup milk (any kind)
1 cup water
Optional: You can also add ½ tsp ginger for extra spiciness, or some sugar or honey to taste if you like your chai lattes sweet. Go ahead and experiment with the tea bag flavours too! Don’t be afraid to mess around and create your own unique drink!

Today I’m going to show you how to make your own Starbucks inspired drink- I say inspired because this isn’t their official recipe, just my recreation with a little adapting here and there!
The closest Starbucks to me is in the city, so I have only ever been to Starbucks twice in my life (kinda sad), which is why I taught myself to make my own drinks at home. Oh also, I was wrapped up in cozy stuff to create a „holiday“ feel to this video but it was 40 degrees C and I was totally MELTINGGGGGG. Gotta love Australian summertime, right?
